Today was a day for rest and relaxation. Well, every day was for Nicole, and it’s not like there had been anything very stressful going on lately, but it never hurt to lay back and relax every once in awhile. Making her way down to the spa, Nicole stopped in the kitchen to grab a bite to eat. She had to be careful what she picked though; she was trying to lose 3 pounds, and her current diet was very specific.
Looking through the cupboards, she found a chocolate bar. She grabbed it almost immediately. Chocolate bars were a rare thing in this house, as they were always snatched up as soon as they were restocked, so Nicole wasn’t about to pass up an opportunity like this. Sighing as she remembered that she was on a diet, however, she flipped the bar over to look at the Nutrition Facts label on the back. Her brow furrowed in confusion just as Paige walked into the room. “120 calories and 48 calories from fat, what percent is that?” she asked, looking up at the new arrival. Nicole had never been very good with numbers, but perhaps Paige knew a thing or two. “I’m only eating foods with less than 30 percent calories from fat.”
